Kristy Carty

Kristy Carty is Vice President of Payroll, UK at Entertainment Partners, bringing more than 25 years’ experience across UK payroll and payroll tax compliance. She is an expert in developing payroll systems and automating payroll processes to create efficiencies for productions while maintaining flexibility, accuracy and compliance within the complex film and TV industry.

Kristy has extensive knowledge of UK payroll and tax law, having started her career at leading HR and payroll provider ADP. She also held roles at the NHS and Close Brothers before joining film and TV payroll specialist Moneypenny, where she served as General Manager before its acquisition by Entertainment Partners in 2022.

Kristy has delivered payroll services for a wide range of domestic and international productions, working closely with studios, production companies and production accountants to ensure fast, accurate, compliant payroll. Her payroll credits include Talamasca, Wuthering Heights, Foundation, Gangs of London, Adolesence and Toxic Town.

Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP)-qualified, Kristy is passionate about developing the next generation of payroll professionals. She has decades of experience leading high-performing payroll teams and contributes to industry training on UK payroll best practices for production and payroll accountants.
