Expertise: Production Incentives, Tax Credits, Incentives Administration
Lloyd Gunton is Vice President of Incentives at Entertainment Partners (EP), where he helps film and television productions across the UK navigate the complexities of incentive strategy and structuring.
Lloyd has more than 15 years’ experience in accounting practice, developed at Ernst & Young and Saffery Champness, before joining the Entertainment Partners group in 2023. In his role, he advises clients throughout every phase of production – from prep, consulting on incentive estimates, providing formal opinions to financiers, and structuring advice to maximise incentive value, through to handling the interim and final claim processes, and right up to cash receipt.
Lloyd provides UK incentives support to productions ranging from micro-budget independent films to some of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters and high-budget TV shows. Recent productions include Angelina Jolie’s Anxious People, the Bergerac reboot, BAFTA-winning See No Evil and How Are You? It's Alan (Partridge), and children’s TV hits Alphablocks, Colourblocks and Numberblocks.
Widely considered an expert in the UK’s creative sector tax credits, Gunton also has extensive technical accounting experience in the film & TV sector, including audit services and reporting under the UK and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the International Financial Reporting Standards.
